About Me
About Me
Hi, I’m Dr. Elizabeth Munene — but most people know me as Lizzie. I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m a pharmacist by training, an MBA candidate by choice, an investor by discipline, a wife to an amazing husband, Morris Mugo, and a very proud mom to my two incredible boys, Ethan and Ryan. Every part of my life has shaped why Simple Freedom exists.
I was born and educated in Kenya, then continued my education here in the United States. Like many of us, I did what I was taught to do: study hard, earn degrees, build a career, and trust that financial freedom would eventually follow.
I became a pharmacist. I started earning good money. And yet, something didn’t sit right.
It always felt like I was moving on a hamster wheel — working hard, doing all the right things, but never quite feeling free.
No one ever taught me how to manage money, how to build wealth intentionally, how to protect my health, or how to create systems that support real life — especially as a woman, a wife, and a mother.
- Not in school.
- Not in professional training.
- Not even halfway through my MBA.
That gap — between earning money and actually living freely — is where my journey truly began.I realized that freedom isn’t about income alone. It’s about clarity, discipline, and intention.
I started learning what school never taught: how to understand money, how to use credit wisely, how to invest simply, how to protect my health, and how to build systems that support a full life — not just a busy one
.
And I quickly saw something powerful: Everyday people don’t lack intelligence or drive. They lack clear, simple education.
That’s why I created Simple Freedom.
This space exists to teach everyday people — especially women and immigrants — how to invest in their health and wealth, using simple language, practical steps, and systems that actually work in real life.
No jargon. No intimidation. No hype.My mission is bold and deeply personal: to help change 1 million lives — or at the very least, teach 1 million everyday people how to buy their freedom.
I believe in clarity over chaos, discipline over motivation, systems over willpower, and progress over perfection.
I believe a woman who understands her money, protects her health, and moves with intention is unstoppable.
If you’re here, you don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need to be willing to start.
I’m rooting for you — always.
Welcome to Simple Freedom.
